This place is awesome everything is clean the bathrooms are like new. We rented for the last 6 months and will be back when we are back in the area. One of the best places we have stayed while on the road. Thanks for making our stay feel like we were at home.
This place is a joke! If you bring your own trailer you are probably safe! If you rent one of theirs you might end up getting sick as I did from the mouse poop all throughout the trailer or the toilet that leaks both inside and underneath your trailer. And I guess the kicker about the mouse poop is they knew they had a mouse problem because there was also a mouse poison in the same drawers as there was poop. Some of the properties are rundown and when the manager says that he will fix them that is not true as I experienced when I fell and hurt myself due to his lack of maintenance! When he was informed about it not only did he not ask if I was okay but he refused to even acknowledge that I had been hurt at all! I am a traveler in Iowa and have come to find that the majority of property owners out here or at least in the places in which we have traveled are slumlords and this place camp at the woods definitely is run by a slumlord!
Very beautiful place to camp. The manager was very helpful he even parked our camper for us and helped us setup. The fishing and tubing was great and afterwards we went swimming in the campgrounds pool which was very well maintained even had a water slide. We are planning our trip for next year and are trying to get a seasonal spot. Thanks for making our camping experience fun.
This campgrounds is clean and well managed. There's a very nice pool with a slide, a game room, 2 playgrounds, fishing, tubing, many planned activities, a community room, paid laundry with one washer and one dryer, CLEAN shower houses with hot water, a basketball court, and concession area. Very fun and friendly!
Great place to camp with a family. Management is very friendly, down to earth, and helpful. The facilities are keep very clean and then showers are excellent, tankless hot water so my family never had to take any cold shower. Management organized many family and kid friendly activities that made staying here fun for all. They also have a heated pool with a slide. We loved that they had a concession stand as well so the kids could have ice cream and frozen treats while at the pool. We love the Riverviews and a pond for the kids fishing as well. We will definitely stay here for many camping trips to come and would highly recommend to any friend or family.
