Ordered food waited almost 40 minutes several costumers can in and received food before us. I went to counter was told they were waiting for fresh meat. Young man came out asked what we ordered told him approximately 3 minutes later we got our food dry bunches meat cold..will never eat there again.
Very very slow. They put my gravy in with my chicken strip basket open and spilling out when I opened it. Also barely gave me any fries!! While sitting at the window waiting for the food, the workers seemed to be very unprofessional and were doing more messing around then working. Very Disappointed when compared to the DQ in Oelwein.
Always seems understaffed by at least two people at all times. This causes large wait times but somehow does not sacrifice food quality. I am always impressed with how the employees there deal with the high amounts of stress that they go through. I just wish the Owner would employee more people and not be greedy. If the lack of candidates is an issue then obviously you are not paying them enough and/or over working them which causes a high turnover rate.. It is causing issues with the employees and customers.
DQ Grill and Chill restaurant in Mason city is very clean & staff is very friendly. Our lunch was fresh warm & the service was excellent!!!
The employees were very rude. The whole place feels sketchy too. I don't like coming here, but it's the only Dairy Queen I'm aware of in Mason City. The ice cream is good though.
