I recently moved to Mason City from Seattle. When my 16-year-old cat suddenly became very ill, I called the Animal Medical Hospital and was treated with much kindness and compassion. Dr. Lacoste came in on her day off to see us. I will be eternally grateful to her and her assistant for making the end of Magic's life so peaceful and loving. The AMH is a wonderful facility. I highly recommend it.
Had a very ill 15 year old dog. Our vet was out of town so we were given there phone number by telephone service on call at our vet. Michelle came in on her day off! Made sure we were comfortable with the dogs healthy before we left. Appreciate her attentivness. Also, great staff!
My cat Pip is such a jerk and Dr. LaCoste and her team handle it with grace. I don't know how they do it!!! Glad to have AMH here in Mason City!

Recently I ordered medication for our dog - medicine that cannot be stopped abruptly without consequences. I forgot to pick it up Friday. On Saturday morning I called the non-emergency number and left a message. Michelle with AMH returned our phone and had filled the prescription when I called and brought it to our house on Saturday - dropping it off in an inconspicuous place as we were not home. We didn't ask her to - she simply went out of her way and showed her dedication to our dog and to us as customers.
I had taken my dog to see Dr. Beckner and Dr. LaCoste since I got her. The care has always been exceptional by them and their staff. Our dog was getting old and we had to put her down recently. The care, compassion and respect that Dr. LaCoste provided our dear friend and us as her family meant so much to us. I would have no hesitation in ever bringing another pet to them again.
