I recently had some warranty/repair work done. I had an oil leak. The repairs to the engine were under warranty and I was not charged for the repair. However, the oil leak was not repaired properly and I have to take my car in for further repair work on the same problem. I am in Texas for the winter so I can't take my car back to Mason City Ford Lincoln. I am dissatisfied with the service. This summer the service person put dye in the oil to locate the source of the leak. This fall I had the repair work done to fix the leak. This winter I have to take my car in again for the same repair. I hope this repair doesn't end up costing me a bunch of money on a repair that was under warranty and still is.
This dealership was recommended to me by my sister. They were polite and very helpful. They gave me a fair price on my trade in. The financial process was smoothe and efficient. When I went to leave with my new car, the dealer noticed the windshield wash was low and filled it. It was then noticed the reservoir was broken. It was a Saturday evening and the service department was closed. On Monday they drove the hour and a half drive to get my car and leave me a loaner. They then brought my car back to me when it was fixed. I am so impressed by their customer service! They went above and beyond to ensure I wasn’t inconvenienced. Highly recommend this dealership and Scott Deetz!
Mason City Ford Chrysler serviced my Chrysler 300C and diagnosed a problem with the headlight. It was resolved after a lot of hard work by their team and Tom the Service Manager. Quite pleased with their outstanding efforts.
