This is the first time my husband and I have stayed in a Holiday Inn Express. Wow...this hotel in Mason City, Iowa turned out to be the best hotel we stayed in on our 12 day road trip.
Clean, nice room, friendly staff. Free breakfast is the typical hotel fare. A really nice Ruby Tuesday just a few steps away.
Our room and the hotel were clean and hotel staff was friendly. There was plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were the best. In fact, I'm going to reach out to Holiday Inn to find out where I can purchase some.
Very clean and new hotel. The breakfast spread was better than most hotels I stay at when traveling for work and the shower was lovely as well. I had no problem checking in or out.
First time I had stayed at a holiday inn in years and I was very impressed. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Would strongly recommend.

Out of the nine hotels we stayed in, the Holiday Inn Express in Mason City, IA was the best. We are definitely going to try more Holiday Inn Hotels.
