Love this place The Ownership and Front Desk Clerks ARE ALL AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL
Super comfortable bed and pillows. Super helpful and friendly people at the front desk. The front desk always has cookies and a lovely fresh fruit bowl available....good hot coffee too. Breakfast was cooked not microwaved. Menu varied from day to day, but all was good. We stayed 3 nights. The first night the drain in the tub/shower was emptying slowly. We mentioned it on our way out the door the first morning, and it was fixed when we returned. They gave us directions to find good restaurants in Mason City. Very clean. The front of this Quality Inn is very, very plain. Don't let that back you off.
I stayed here on December 21, 2017. Only reason I wanted motel room was jacuzzi suite to relax away some holiday stress. First off the phone didn't work to call front desk, lol minor issue. Anyway when I got in jacuzzi to relax it didnt work. It turned on but the pressure dial wouldnt budge. Man at counter offered to switch rooms for me but I declined cause my son was already asleep. We agreed figure it out in morning. In the morning lady offered to only charge me for a regular room instead jacuzzi rates. I live about 5 blocks from motel, if I wanted a regular room I'd had stayed home. At checkout I was given a new receipt showing $10 more off the regular room rate. So I paid $100.79 to stay in motel when I live 5 blocks away. I feel robbed most definitely. Only thing positive I have to say about here was breakfast was good. Would I consider this stay to be "quality". Hell no is the answer. Unless issue is rectified in my opinion I will tell all of my night there and how management staff there knows NOTHING about customer service.
Great stay clean room and affordable. Upgraded to a suite at no charge just asked. They had one vacant that night and upgraded me no problem. Very pleased with my experience.
Friendly, helpful staff. Nice hot breakfast. Comfortable room and good wifi. Would give 5 stars except remodeling. Indoor pool was empty and full of debris due to ongoing remodeling. Will be really nice when done. Dtay on top floor or you will hear people above walking.
